They were then sent to the Metro Animal Emergency Clinic in Dartmouth.Article content“The patients are pretty stable at this time, they are still here with us,” said a staff member at the Metro Animal Emergency Clinic.Article contentTetanish said the fire damage was contained to the kitchen in the house, though there would have been smoke damage throughout.Article contentAs for advice to other first responders after such an unusual call, Tetanish said, “Be prepared for anything. I think we will certainly look into getting more of the pet oxygen masks.”Article content
