(Government of New Brunswick)There were 10 fires burning in New Brunswick as of 1p.m. AT Monday, with only one listed as being out of control.The 456-hectare Beaver Lake Stream fire in Northumberland County is the only fire listed as out of control, according to the province’s fire dashboard.The 204-hectare Rocky Brook fire in Restigouche County is contained within a bulldozed break or wet line. One small fire, 318 in Gloucester, is also under the same classification.Another small fire, 314 in Northumberland County, is now listed as under control.The remaining six fires spread across various counties are being patrolled. This is the last stage before a fire is considered out.Among them is the the largest wildfire, the 1,403-hectare Old Field Road fire near Miramichi.There will be chances of showers in parts of New Brunswick Monday afternoon, said CBC meteorologist Tina Simpkin.ABOUT THE AUTHORIsabelle Leger is a reporter based in Fredericton.
