The Surrey Police Service (SPS) said officers were called to the residence near 121 Street and 101B Avenue just after 9 p.m., where they found numerous people inside. Only the one woman was injured, according to police, and she was taken to hospital.While Surrey has experienced a wave of extortion-related crime and shootings, police have not yet linked this latest shooting to them.”At this early stage the motive for the shots fired remains under investigation and investigators will be liaising with police partners to determine if there are any connections to other files,” said Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton.
