(Kingston Police Service)The Kingston Fall Fair shut down early Saturday evening after someone reportedly fired bear spray into a crowd of people, police say.Emergency responders were called to the annual fair at the Kingston Memorial Centre grounds at about 10:05 p.m., police said in a news release late Sunday morning.Once there, officers found two people who’d been been sprayed. The pair received treatment from Frontenac paramedics at the scene and suffered only minor injuries that did not require further medical attention, according to Kingston police.Officers were unable to identify a suspect due to a lack of video surveillance and witnesses, police said, though the investigation is ongoing.In two other unrelated incidents at the fair, Kingston police said they arrested a 15-year-old for weapons offences and breach of release conditions and a 17-year-old for breach of release conditions.”As a result of these incidents the fair was shut down at approximately 10:30 p.m.,” police said.The Kingston Fall Fair normally runs until 11 p.m. It is celebrating its 193rd year.
