Paramedics received the call just before 11 a.m. about a collision at the corner of Phelan Road E. and First Line Road, a spokesperson said. OFS said firefighters had to extricate the man from the pickup. Images from the scene show the truck resting against a tree with its front end mangled.The man “seemed to have had a medical incident” at the time of the collision, paramedics said. He was airlifted to hospital by Ornge in serious but stable condition.The woman driving the car was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to paramedics.Ornge transported one victim of the two-vehicle collision in Ottawa to hospital in serious but stable condition.
