Breydon Henry Cadieux-Kwiatkowski was found unresponsive near Boyd Avenue, between Parr and McGregor Streets, around 7 p.m. on Aug. 5, city police said in a news release last week. Police said he experienced “severe trauma” and was in critical condition when he was taken to hospital, where he died.On Tuesday, officers from the joint RCMP-Winnipeg police violent offender apprehension unit arrested two men, with help from the tactical support team, Winnipeg police said in a Thursday news release.Darian Allen Gaige Sam, 27, has been charged with manslaughter and two counts of failing to comply with a release order, police said. A 64-year-old man has been charged with being an accessory after the fact. Police allege that Sam was in an altercation with the victim that escalated to Cadieux-Kwiatkowski’s fatal injuries. Police said the 64-year-old man helped Sam flee the scene. Both men were detained in custody, police said. More from CBC Manitoba:
