(Supplied by RCMP)Two men have been charged with second-degree murder in relation to the death of a man whose body was discovered near the Kamloops, B.C., landfill four years ago. On the afternoon of Oct. 1, 2021, fire crews were called to the shoreline near the entrance of the landfill, following reports of a suspicious fire. There, they found the body of a 29-year-old man, who would later be identified as Adam Hibbert. Investigators determined Hibbert’s death was a homicide, and released his name and photo to try to get the public to come forward with information surrounding his death.Now, Tristan Bris Fernandez and Robert Lloyd Sedore have been charged. Sedore was arrested and is in custody, police say, and Fernadez is in custody on an unrelated matter.Kamloops RCMP Supt. Jeff Pelley said the years-long police investigation that followed was “extensive and complex.”RCMP said in a media release they will not comment on the investigation further, as the matter is before the courts.
