He is charged with first-degree murder and unlawful confinement in relation to the December 2024 killing.Rabbitskin has already appeared in court and has been remanded into custody pending his next appearance.This brings the total number of people charged in the case to eight — seven with first-degree murder and one with manslaughter.Saskatoon police found Tootoosis’s body on Dec. 18, 2024, while executing a search warrant at a house in the 1700 block of 22nd Street West. The 30-year-old was the final homicide victim of 2024 in the city.Destini Gardipy, 43, is charged with first-degree murder and unlawful confinement.Five men are also facing the same charges, along with a count each of offering an indignity to human remains.Nakita Tootoosis, 34, is charged with manslaughter.Gardipy and Tootoosis both appeared in provincial court last week. They are scheduled to return to court on Monday.
