(Liny Lamberink/CBC)An eight-year old boy from northeastern New Brunswick died in a two-vehicle crash on Friday.The RCMP responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a moped around 7 p.m. in Haut-Sheila, a community now part of the Municipality of Tracadie.Police believe the accident occurred when a vehicle travelling north on Route 370 hit a moped going in the same direction, the release says. The crash occurred at the intersection of Route 370 and Edmond Road.The eight-year-old boy, from Saint-Pons, N.B., was a passenger on the moped, police say. The 17-year-old driver, also from Saint-Pons, has serious injuries.Police say they are investigating.
