Prosecutor David Piche withdrew the manslaughter charge against her and replaced it with a charge of first-degree murder. Piche also withdrew two gang-related charges against her.Nakita Tootoosis now joins seven others who are all charged with first-degree murder in Tim Tootoosis’s death.Five of those accused are also charged with unlawful confinement and offering an indignity to human remains.Saskatoon police found Tim Tootoosis’s body on Dec. 18, 2024, while executing a search warrant at a house in the 1700 block of 22nd Street W.
