She blasted a perfect shot into the top corner from just outside the 18-yard box after a brief scramble near the Halifax penalty area.Vancouver keeper Morgan McAslan stopped all six Halifax shots to earn the clean sheet.The Tides will look to break into the win column on Saturday on the road against the Montreal Roses at 3 p.m. The game will be televised on CBC Gem. The Roses lead the NSL with a perfect 3-0 record.Halifax’s men’s team will also play on Saturday in a version of a pro soccer double-header for the city, which is the first of its kind for the Nova Scotia capital. The Wanderers host Calgary’s Cavalry FC at 6:30 p.m.The Wanderers are off to their best start in their seven-year history. They are in second place in the Canadian Premier League standings with eight points in five games.The Wanderers are undefeated with three wins and two ties. Atletico Ottawa is two points ahead in first place with a 4-0-1 record. Cavalry FC is 1-2-1.Article content
