(Amanda Darnley/Facebook)Police say they have identified human remains found near Saskatoon last week as Chad Romanski of Saskatoon and are now treating the death as a homicide.In a news release, the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said the remains were found off Highway 7, west of the city, on June 4.Police have not said how far outside of the city or how far off the highway the body was found, or how it was discovered.The release said investigation by SPS and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service confirmed the remains belong to 31-year-old Romanski.Police say they are treating the death as a homicide.Anyone with information about Romanski or his recent whereabouts is asked to call police at (306)-975-8300 or contact Crime Stoppers.ABOUT THE AUTHORAlexander Quon has been a reporter with CBC Saskatchewan since 2021 and is happy to be back working in his hometown of Regina after half a decade in Atlantic Canada.
