The lottery tickets are largely comprised of break-open or pull-tab tickets. RCMP is aware of individuals attempting to redeem a large quantity of winning break-open tickets and are asking business owners to be mindful of this activity and to report suspicious activities.Article contentRCMP NL asks the public to remain vigilant of suspicious activities or vehicle presence around commercial properties, especially during the early morning hours.Article contentBusiness owners are asked to secure their properties, including desirable items such as cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets. Additionally, property owners are encouraged to consider the installation of security cameras in and around the property.Article contentThe investigations are ongoing.
