And, as police arrived, the man threatened officers, saying, “If you come near me, I will drop you” and “If you are here arresting me, you better call backup because I will put up a fight.”Article contentArticle contentEventually, the man relented and went with the police. He was charged with uttering threats, a breach of probation and two counts of failure to comply with a release order.Article contentThe man was held for court.Article contentHere is a look at the rest of the report:Article contentJuly 7Article content12:47 a.m. Officers responded to a break-and-enter of a home in progress near Froude Avenue. There, police found two men on the back deck of the home. Both were arrested and charged with breaking and entering, as well as failure to comply with a release order.Article contentJuly 6Article content7:48 a.m. RNC responded to a report of a court order breach in progress near the centre of St. John’s. By the time officers arrived, the 44-year-old male had fled on foot. After a search, he was located and arrested. The male was charged with two counts of uttering threats, breach of a release order and breach of probation.Article content12:42 p.m. After reports of a domestic disturbance in the west end of St. John’s, a 24-year-old male was arrested and charged with assault.Article contentArticle content2:20 p.m. A 73-year-old female was arrested in the Livingstone Street area after police saw her walking in the area. There was an outstanding arrest warrant.Article contentArticle content9:03 p.m. As officers patrolled in the area of Military Road, they saw a 20-year-old female using drugs on a school property. She was charged with public mischief, obstruction and causing a disturbance.Article content10:20 p.m. Officers walked into a theft in progress in St. John’s when a 30-year-old male walked out of the business he just robbed and into the arms of the RNC. After a foot chase through a couple of backyards, the male was arrested. On top of being charged with theft, obstruction and breach of probation, there were two outstanding warrants out for his arrest.
After challening RNC to fight, St. John’s was arrested for uttering threats amongst other things
