(Olivier Plante/CBC)A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a crash east of Cornwall on Sunday night, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). Emergency crews were called around 8:55 p.m. to County Road 2 between Arthur Street and Fraser Road in Summerstown a spokesperson told CBC.Two vehicles were involved: a motorcycle and a smaller car, believed to be a black Honda, police said.The motorcycle driver, a 23-year-old man from Quebec, was taken first to a local hospital and then transferred to a regional trauma centre with potentially life-threatening injuries.The investigation is still ongoing, police wrote in a social media post. One thing the spokesperson said they’re trying to determine is if the two vehicles made contact or if the car may have forced the motorcyclist off the road.A section of County Road 2 was temporarily closed overnight for the investigation but had reopened as of 3 a.m. Monday.
