Officers did not engage in a pursuit, police said, until the vehicle headed onto Highway 102 and then into Lower Sackville.Article contentArticle content“The pursuit concluded on Beaver Bank Road, where the vehicle was stopped,” the release said.Article contentA 51-year-old man was arrested and charges are pending, police said.Article contentThe operation was conducted by HRP’s emergency response team and quick response unit, with assistance from RCMP in the pursuit.Article contentThe arrest came five days after HRP released photos of the suspect taken from surveillance video at the bank and asked for public help in identifying the man.Article contentThe robbery happened June 30 at about 4:35 p.m. Police said a man entered the bank, threatened a teller with a weapon and fled on foot with a quantity of money.Article contentOfficers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.Article contentNobody was physically injured during the robbery, police said.Article content
