(Lynda Paradis/Radio-Canada)A man was found drowned in a lake in Otter Lake, Que., on Sunday afternoon, according to Quebec provincial police.The 25-year-old man from nearby Campbell’s Bay was at the lake Saturday night with a group of people who were swimming in the water, said a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).The others lost sight of the man when he tried to swim to a platform in the water and called emergency services around 9 p.m., according to the SQ. He was not wearing any kind of flotation device.His unresponsive body was recovered around 1 p.m. on Sunday, and he was transported to hospital.Police said the investigation is ongoing. Otter Lake is located about 80 kilometres northwest of downtown Gatineau.With files from Isabel Harder and Radio-Canada
