(Gavin Boutroy/Radio-Canada)A 24-year-old man is in custody after a man died following a shooting Sunday in Teulon, Man.Stonewall RCMP said they responded to reports of a shooting at 10:40 p.m. Sunday at a home on Seventh Avenue S.E. in Teulon, a town of about 1,200 people located about 60 kilometres north of Winnipeg in the Interlake region.A 37-year-old man with life-threatening injuries was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead, RCMP said in a news release Monday morning.Police were still at the home where the shooting happened when another officer, who was on patrol, found a car police believe was involved in the homicide and tried to stop it.The car took off, and when RCMP followed, it drove into a cornfield, the news release said.The area was contained and the 24-year-old man was arrested, RCMP said in the news release. A firearm was also found and seized.Police said they are not looking for any other suspects, but they continue to investigate.
