(Jillian Renouf/CBC)A 97-year-old man was killed when he was hit by a SUV in Prince Edward County on Tuesday afternoon, according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).The crash happened on County Road 3 west of Weese Road in Carrying Place around 5:30 p.m., a news release said.The unnamed man from the county was pronounced dead at the scene.A police investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information, especially footage, to contact them.The crash happened on the county’s north shore, about 30 kilometres northwest of Picton.
