If you missed it, don’t worry — our CBC Nova Scotia crew was there to capture the sights and sounds as the parade made its way down Spring Garden Road.The Halifax Pride Parade rolled through downtown Halifax on Saturday, July 19 and CBC was there to capture all the colour and excitement.The parade was live on cbc.ca/ns and CBC Gem.The parade route: Starting at the east end (roundabout) of Cogswell Street, the parade headed east down Cogswell Street, turned south onto Barrington Street, west onto Spring Garden Road, north onto South Park Street and ended on Bell Road and Ahern Avenue, at the Garrison Grounds.The Halifax Pride Festival runs from July 17-27.What to expect from the 2025 Halifax Pride FestivalHalifax Pride’s executive director says thousands of people are expected to turn out for events, including the large parade.
