(RCMP)RCMP have arrested Elijah Albert after warning the public of an armed and dangerous man in the Muskowekwan First Nation area, about 140 kilometres northeast of Regina, early Thursday morning.The 28-year-old was arrested at a rural location near Lestock, Sask., RCMP said in a release announcing the cancellation of the emergency alert just after 9 a.m. CST.Police had said Albert was armed with a rifle and wearing a blue sweater, blue jeans and dark backpack.He was last seen heading into a bush around Muskowekwan and could either have been travelling by quad or on foot, according to the initial alert.RCMP are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them.ABOUT THE AUTHORAliyah Marko-Omene is a reporter for CBC Saskatchewan.
