(Submitted by Kelly Hamilton)Two people were sent to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash near the Ontario-Manitoba border, causing traffic delays for hours on part of the Trans-Canada Highway. Ontario Provincial Police said the collision happened after 8 a.m. Saturday at Rocky Ridge Road near Clearwater Bay, a rural community about 170 kilometres east of Winnipeg. The eastbound lane of the Trans-Canada Highway near the scene of the crash has reopened, the Ontario Provincial Police said. Two people were taken to hospital and no information has been released about their conditions. OPP initially closed a section of the Trans-Canada Highway, but the eastbound lane was reopened at around 11:40 a.m.A spokesperson for OPP said it is unclear when the highway will fully reopen. More from CBC News:
