People started lining up for the meal well before noon until the line reached the road 150 metres away. The family event included children’s fun events and entertainment all day long. For an extra charge, crab and salad meals were served until they ran out. It’s not known at press time how many paid at the gate for the fun, but 1,000 meals were prepared and served under two large tents.Article contentArticle content Cape Breton Regional Municipality Dist. 8 Coun.
