(Darin Morash/CBC)Two people have been charged with manslaughter after a 45-year-old woman found injured and unresponsive in the William Whyte neighbourhood died in hospital on Wednesday. Around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Winnipeg police responded to reports of an unresponsive woman on Alfred Avenue, between Charles and Salter streets, officials said in a news release on Saturday.  Police said the woman was receiving emergency medical care from first responders when officers arrived. The woman was taken to hospital in critical condition, where she later died of her injuries.Police have identified the victim as 45-year-old Christine Beck. Around 2 a.m. the next day, homicide investigators charged Cailie Lauren Chartrand, 36, and Bradley Kenneth Jones, 36, with manslaughter. Both of the accused have been detained in custody, police said.More from CBC Manitoba:
