The agency says much of the province will face several days of hot, humid weather. Daytime highs could reach 33 C, though coastal areas will be slightly cooler.Humidex values in the hottest areas could reach 39.Conditions are expected to ease on Wednesday in Cape Breton and parts of the mainland.Environment Canada is urging people to check on older adults and others at higher risk, as the heat could increase the likelihood of health problems.
