(Hanna Petersen/CBC)A tornado warning was briefly issued for the Stuart-Nechako region in north-central B.C. on Sunday afternoon.The warning, issued at 1:10 p.m. PT on Sunday, had said forecasters were tracking a severe thunderstorm that could possibly produce a tornado.It was later replaced by a severe thunderstorm warning for the Stuart-Nechako and Lake District areas, which warned of thunderstorms that could produce damaging hail, wind or rain. “A severe thunderstorm 70 km south of Fraser Lake (near Natalkuz Lake) is moving northeastward at 35 km/h,” reads the warning.During a severe thunderstorm warning for parts north-central British Columbia on Aug. 17, hail fell in the area of Vanderhoof, B.C.
