(Radio-Canada)A man in his 60s was randomly attacked and stabbed by a group of teenagers near a condo complex in the Mynarski neighbourhood on Saturday night, Winnipeg police say.A man walking along Troy Avenue, between Fife and McPhillips streets, was confronted by a group of teenagers in a condo building parking lot around 9 p.m. on Saturday, police said in a Wednesday news release. The man was stabbed, pushed to the ground and assaulted, police said. The man called police after the teens ran off. When officers arrived, the man was given emergency medical care and was taken to hospital in unstable condition, the release said. He is now in stable condition. The Winnipeg police major crimes unit is looking for suspects and asks the public to share any information or video surveillance that might lead to an arrest. Police described one of the suspects as a boy with facial hair in his mid-teens. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and white pants, police said.Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the major crimes unit at 204-986-6219.
