(SeventyFour/Shutterstock)A 38-year-old woman has been charged with criminal negligence causing death after a two-month-old drowned in northern Manitoba last fall, police say.On Sept. 6, 2024, RCMP in Lynn Lake, just over 800 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg, were called with a report about an unresponsive two-month-old, police said in a Thursday news release.When police arrived at the hospital, the infant was not breathing and was pronounced dead. Investigators determined that the baby had drowned.Police did not specify where or how the drowning occurred.The 38-year-old woman, who was charged on Tuesday, is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25.More from CBC Manitoba:
