Power employee pleaded not guilty in Moncton provincial court Friday.Ronald Arsenault, 53, is accused of assaulting and uttering threats to Hakeem Duncan in Cap-Pelé in March.Duty counsel Julie-Michèle Lee told Judge Paul Duffie that Arsenault intends to represent himself at trial.”His intention this morning is to plead not guilty and to seek a trial date,” she said.The allegations against Arsenault date back to earlier this year when the utility claimed employees were being verbally harassed during hundreds of phone calls from clients, many complaining about rising power costs.
