Police were notified about the incident by a GPS SOS on Sept. 1.Meachen Creek Falls is near Kimberley, which is about 320 kilometres east of Kelowna.The falls are� 85 metres deep, according to Tourism Kimberley, and there are canyon views and wooded forests in the area.
