(CBC)A 30-year-old man is facing multiple charges after Winnipeg police say he hit two pedestrians with a vehicle after a night of drinking that led to an argument between the three.Police say on Wednesday night, the 30-year-old met up with two other men and began drinking alcohol. The men got into an argument, which escalated when the accused got into his vehicle and sped toward the other two men, police said in a Thursday news release.The two other men were hit and the driver fled the scene, police said. One man suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in unstable condition. He is now in stable condition, police said. The other man had minor injuries and was taken to hospital in stable condition.Officers arrested the driver just before 11:30 p.m. on Atlas Crescent, in the West Kildonan area.The 30-year-old faces several charges, including operating a vehicle causing bodily harm while impaired by alcohol, dangerous operation of a vehicle, two counts of assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, and failing to stop at the scene of an accident. He was released on an undertaking, police said.
