Kevin Lewis said the RCMP were asked to assist in determining if any criminality was involved or how the gun was handled before it fired.Article contentLewis said it was clear from video evidence that the officer was exiting his police vehicle when the gun discharged in the holster without being handled.Article content“We are conducting further investigation and analysis into that firearm and holster to determine how it came to fire without being handled,” Lewis said.Article content
