Students, who are doing mid-term exams this week, were forced to leave their belongings behind when evacuating the school, and only those whose items were left on the lower floors of the school were allowed back in to get them before leaving for the day. Students with belongings on the third and fourth floor, which fire officials had not deemed safe to access by the time school was dismissed, were told they’d have to wait until the building reopens.Recommended from Editorial Holy Heart celebrates 60th birthday Teen arrested with weapon outside St. John’s high school Holy Heart will be closed Thursday, April 3, due to the incident, and exams scheduled for that day are postponed until Monday, April 7.A professional development day that had been set to take place on Monday will now happen on Wednesday, April 9 instead.
