He also has experience as an assistant coach with the USHL’s Tri-City Storm as well as with the NCAA’s Mercyhurst College, University of Alaska-Fairbanks and Dartmouth College.“John brings extensive experience from the U.S., having worked within both the NCAA and the USHL,” said Eagles general manager Sylvain Couturier in a press release. “We are very pleased to welcome him to the Cape Breton Eagles organization and look forward to the knowledge and expertise he will contribute.”Cape Breton will open the 2025-26 QMJHL regular season on Friday when they face the Saint John Sea Dogs at 7 p.m., at TD Station in Saint John, N.B.Article contentArticle contentArticle content
