Points leader Austin Petipas finished in second place, followed by Brennan MacInnis, Austin Rudderham and Davey Timmons.Article contentIn the mini stock division, Adam Aker kept his lead over Josh Rozicki in the standings, driving the No. 61 to a victory in the feature race. Rozicki along with Merrick Rozicki, Daniel Webb and Cory Aker completed the top five.Article contentThe street stock feature was nothing short of entertaining for the fans. In a race that started with eight drivers, finished with four cars and a victory for JJ Cusack, his first win since returning to racing last season.Article contentA race that included several cautions saw a black flag given to Dennis Nickerson after what is believed to have been a mechanical failure saw the driver of the No. 78 cause an incident with then leader Dyllan Farrell and Mike MacLeod on a caution.Article contentArticle contentAt the time, Farrell, Nickerson and MacLeod were the top three leaders, this after Colton Beaver and Glen Cook caused a caution at the front of the pack on a restart.Article contentThere was no bandolero racing on Wednesday night, however the division will return to the track next month when the Tim’s Corner Motorsports Bandolero Road Trip concludes in Sydney. Several bandolero drivers from across Atlantic Canada are expected to compete in that event.Article contentNext up on the schedule at Bud’s Speedway is the inaugural Redneck Wreckfest event on Sept. 27. The start time for the event is 2 p.m.Article contentAs for the Caper Memorial, it will mark the end of the 2025 season at Bud’s Speedway as well as the last event of the stock car racing season in Atlantic Canada. More information will be released at a later date.Article content
