They seized fentanyl and fluorofentanyl as well as an “enclosed trailer” that had been reported stolen. The pain reliever fentanyl is 20 to 40 times more potent than heroin.One person was released without any charges, but the other three people are:Jake Bruce Murphy, 34, from Three Brooks, was charged with fentanyl possession and three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking (a legal promise).Rebecca Lynn Pitts, 48, also from Three Brooks, was charged with fentanyl possessionMerissa Ann Sutherland, 34, from Pictou, was charged with possessing property obtained by a crime and failing to comply with an undertaking.They have been released pending a June 23 court date.Article content
