SJRFD’s high-angle rescue team set up at the top of the embankment, lowered themselves to the ledge and eventually hoisted her to the top. Article contentArticle contentAn RNC officer had also climbed down to the woman before SJRFD arrival to make sure she was safe. Article contentThe woman, who was cold but unharmed, was then taken to a waiting ambulance in the parking lot.Article content Beachgoers in the meantime had been directed to vacate the area so first responders could attend to the call.
