Dauphin RCMP search for missing 41-year-old man

(Winnipeg Police Service)Police in Dauphin are searching for a missing man who has not been seen since last Thursday. Manitoba RCMP’s Dauphin detachment received a report on Sunday, around 3:45 p.m., about a missing 41-year-old male, according to a Monday news release. Police say Ernest Chartrand was last seen on Sept. 18, and hasn’t been heard from since. He is believed to still be in the Dauphin area, police said, and his family and RCMP are concerned for his well-being.Ernest is described as five feet six inches tall, approximately 150 pounds with short black hair. He has one tooth missing on the right side and is usually clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a khaki shirt and vest, jeans and work boots.Anyone with information about Chartrand’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dauphin RCMP at 204-622-5020, or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.More from CBC Manitoba:
