Teams earn three points for a regulation-time win, two for an overtime victory and one in an overtime loss.The Flyers, however, have two games remaining on April 5 while all the other teams have one.The top two teams advance to the championship game on April 6 at 1 p.m.Wild 6 McDonalds 3Rookie Drew Murphy scored a hat trick, Jordan Shaw added a goal and two assists and Derek Andrews contributed four assists to lead the Wild. Brian Zhang (1-1) and Dylan MacLean also scored for Kensington, which received a 41-save effort from rookie goaltender Jase MacPherson.Article contentLuke Dooley (2) and Logan Trewin replied for the McDonalds, who were playing their second game of the day after prevailing 3-2 over Moncton in an eight-round shootout in an early-afternoon start.Trailing 5-1, Halifax went on a 5-on-3 power play just before the 11-minute mark of the third period and scored two goals 31 seconds apart to make it a 5-3 lead.Chandler Bell stopped 44 of 49 shots for the Wild.A total of 15 minor penalties were called in the game – 15 of those against Kensington. Rowan Walsh added a goal and an assist while other helpers were credited to Will Dunn, Seth Lawless, Ashton Campbell and Parker MacDonald.Ethan Jones (1-1), Declan Flynn, Mason Strong and Gavin Connors answered for the Blizzard.Article contentWinning goaltender Hunter Bradley stopped 29 of 31 shots.
