Premier Rob Lantz will shuffle his cabinet Friday afternoon after Steven Myers resigned from his political responsibilities on Oct. 2.Lantz needs to appoint a new minister of housing, land and communities, which was Myers’ portfolio before he stepped down from cabinet and as an MLA.The premier will announce the changes to his leadership team at 1 p.m. at Government House. The event will be streamed live on the province’s Facebook page. The shuffle comes less than a month before the legislature’s fall sitting, which is slated to begin on Nov. 4. It’s unclear where the session will take place, with the opening date for the renovated Province House still not announced.
