(Dignity Memorial)A Saskatoon man originally charged with second-degree murder in the 2023 death of Warren Pegg has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.Eugene Noah Caisse entered the plea on the revised charge Monday at Court of King’s Bench. Saskatoon police charge man with 2nd-degree murder after Saturday homicide Justice John Morrall sentenced Caisse, who was 23 when he killed Pegg, to 15 years. With credit for time spent on remand, Caisse has 12 and a half years left to serve.Pegg was attacked with a machete outside the Fire Creek Gas and Grill at Avenue P South and 20th Street West. It happened at about 4:20 p.m CST on Dec. 2, 2023.
