(Richard Cuthbertson/CBC)The Cobequid Community Health Centre in Lower Sackville, N.S., is closed until further notice after a furnace at the facility emitted smoke and fuel on Thursday morning.Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency were dispatched to the centre at 6:40 a.m.District Chief Drew MacCulloch said there was no fire, but crews turned off power and fuel to the furnace and ventilated the area due to smoke.MacCulloch said a fuel leak has caused a slight smell in parts of the building.Nova Scotia Health has asked patients, staff and community members not to go to the facility until further notice. Patients with blood collection appointments should reschedule their appointment or go to the Bayers Road clinic at the same appointment time.Patients with diagnostic imaging appointments will be contacted with further directions.
