(RCMP)A person is in critical condition after a reported road rage incident in North Vancouver, B.C., on Saturday, according to RCMP.Police received multiple reports about an alleged “dispute over merging” around 3 p.m. near Boulevard Crescent and East 21st Street, according to a news release Sunday.Witnesses reported to police that the occupant of a white Jeep exited their vehicle during the interaction and was struck by a grey Subaru.Officers took the driver of the Subaru into custody, while the victim was transported to hospital in critical condition, according to RCMP.The suspect is facing multiple charges related to the incident, although police did not provide details. RCMP say the suspect was released with several police-imposed conditions.”This was a traumatic incident for the people who witnessed it,” said Cpl. Mansoor Sahak, media relations officer for the North Vancouver RCMP. “We are continuing to assess the condition of the victim, which may impact the nature of the charges as the investigation progresses.”Police are asking anyone with information or recorded video footage to contact North Vancouver RCMP if they have not done so already.
