A nearby apartment building was evacuated as a precaution, with residents given temporary shelter on Winnipeg Transit buses that were brought in.The roof line was charred and much of the roof itself was gone by the time firefighters cleared the scene around 7 a.m.No information has been provided on the cause of the fire.No injuries were reported.The roof of an apartment building on Enfield Crescent was destroyed in a fire on Monday.
