(Ontario Provincial Police/X)Police say they are working to unpack a chaotic morning in a small eastern Ontario town that included a fire at a fire station and crash involving someone leaving the scene.Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said on social media it started with a house fire on Adelaide Street in Cardinal, part of the township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal, around 4 a.m. Tuesday.There was then a fire at a nearby fire station, police said.A driver then tried to flee the same fire station and crashed into another vehicle, leaving minor injuries, according to OPP.The male driver seen leaving the scene is in police custody, police said, adding their investigation continues.Cardinal is along the St. Lawrence River, about 33 kilometres east of downtown Brockville and 75 kilometres south of downtown Ottawa.
