(David Horemans/CBC)CBC Radio service has been restored to Cornwall, Ont., and the surrounding area following a temporary outage over the Thanksgiving long weekend.CBC Radio went off the air after the local transmission tower lost power around 8 p.m. Sunday.Power was restored and transmission resumed in English and French around 3 p.m. Monday.Listeners affected by local outages can still hear radio broadcasts on CBC’s website, the CBC Listen app (available through Google Play or the Apple App Store) or on the CBC News app (available through Google Play or the Apple App Store).
