(Ontario Provincial Police/X)A wildfire that drove residents from their homes west of Ottawa appears to have stopped spreading, officials in North Frontenac Township said Monday night.The wildfire broke out near Ompah, Ont., on Sunday, forcing between 15 and 20 people from their homes and closing Road 509.The road reopened Tuesday evening, but the township said the evacuation recommendation remains in effect.There have been no reports of injuries or damage to infrastructure.Officials are expected to offer an update on the wildfire Wednesday afternoon.
