First Nations soldiers life celebrated days before military acknowledges its ugly past

Tommy Prince is known as the most decorated First Nations veteran of the Second World War and the Korean War. The sergeant was a member of the famous Devil’s Brigade. While he did a lot to protect Canada, this country didn’t do anything for him when he returned from the battlefields. Prince faced racism and discrimination.
