(David Bell/CBC)Battlefords RCMP say they’re looking for the occupants of a dark-green Jeep Wrangler, after a shooting on Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head, Lean Man First Nation Wednesday night that left at least one person injured.Police say they’re looking to confirm the well-being of the people in the vehicle, one of whom they believe may also have been injured in the shooting.RCMP say they received a report around 7 p.m. Wednesday of a shooting in the First Nation, about 30 kilometres south of North Battleford. They determined that a dispute between a male in the parking lot of a community facility and someone in a green Jeep led to a person in the vehicle firing a gun, which injured the other person. The injured person then got into a tan-coloured Jeep, and both vehicles drove away, RCMP said in a Friday news release.Shortly after, there was another interaction between the people in the two vehicles in a parking lot along Highway 4. That time, someone in the tan-coloured Jeep shot into the green Jeep, and both vehicles again drove away. The injured male from the tan Jeep was taken to hospital soon afterwards with non-life-threatening injuries and was later released. That male and a female were then arrested on outstanding warrants for other charges, RCMP said. Police did not release their names or ages.RCMP say they’re still trying to find the occupants of the other vehicle, which they describe as a dark green 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited SUV.They’re asking anyone with information to call Battlefords RCMP at 310-RCMP, or make an anonymous tip to Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers online or by calling 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
