Dinn won the seat after he accumulated 3,031 votes.Article contentArticle contentBobbett finished with 2,929 votes.Article contentAccording to a prepared release, the recount is scheduled to start on Nov. 18 at 10:30 a.m. at the Supreme Court in St. John’s.Article contentOnce the recount has been completed, the results will be given to the district’s returning officer, who will release them to the public within two days of the recount.Article content Dan Bobbett. Butt received 2,570 votes while Bennett picked up just 2,552.Article contentMeanwhile, Placentia West-Bellevue was won by PC MHA Jeff Dwyer, who defeated Keating 2,641 to 2,577.Article contentSIGNIFICANCE OF RECOUNTArticle contentIf the Liberals are successful in overcoming the 102-vote margin in Topsail-Paradise, it would take away the current PC majority government status.Article content
